A series of sandbox action RPGs with slasher elements, developed by Japanese company Capcom. The series Dragon's Dogma was created by an experienced development team, responsible for such series as Resident Evil, Devil May Cry or Breath of Fire, which included director Hideaki Itsuno, producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi and designer Makoto Ikehara. The creators' goal was to create a new brand that would combine the open world characteristic of Western RPGs with the arcade combat system typical of Japanese studio productions.

Game Ratings for Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen Video Game.
GamingBolt: 9 / 10 by Varun Karunakar
Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen is an excellent expansion that builds on the base game's strongest elements while ironing out enough of the friction its weaker parts caused upon release. It advances the foundations of its exploration and combat loop, making it feel like the definitive version of those systems and something worth diving into right away.
TechRaptor: 8 / 10 by Erren Van Duine
Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen is a fine expansion that lengthens the base game to a comfortable degree without being overwhelming. While some jank and difficulty remain, it's clear things have improved in more ways than one.
RPG Fan: 95 / 100
Every Arisen starts with a hole in their chest, and for all its brilliance, so did Dragon's Dogma 2. Dark Arisen fills that void, as nearly every system has been refined, sharpened, and pushed to the edge of what the formula can hold.
