A sequel to the well-received science fiction jRPG developed by Monolith Software in 2010. Xenoblade Chronicles X tells a completely different story than its predecessor that was released on Wii. The action of the game starts in 2054. The Earth is almost completely destroyed because of the war of two alien species and the humanity is forced to look for a new home. White Whale, an American space shuttle, crashes on planet Mira and the crew of the ship creates a city called New Los Angeles on the surface. The player assumes the role of one of the survivors who is accepted to an organization that explores the planet. The gameplay mechanics combine features of the previous entry in the series with traits of Monster Hunter series. During the game the player is exploring areas of the planet, completing various tasks and he fights the monsters that inhabit the planet.

Originally, the game was intended to be another installment in the Resident Evil franchise. The plot of Devil May Cry is set in a modern setting on the fictional Mallet Island. During gameplay you follow a dark warrior named Dante – half-man, half-demon – who must face the ruler of the underground world Mundus, who was defeated thousands of years before by Dante’s father. The action revolves around skillful elimination of waves of enemies with the use of gradually-upgraded tools of destruction. Each stage is rated on a special scale that examines your time, fighting style, items used, and damage received. Interestingly, Dante can transform into a demon for a short period of time, during which, surrounded by a special aura, he spreads destruction even more vigorously.

Bye-Bye Boxboy! is the third installment of the logical platform game series developed by HAL Laboratory. Just like in the previous games, we play as Qbby, a square character that can replicate his shape. This time, he has to save Qbabies, beings that look like smaller versions of him. As a reward for his help, they will give him additional abilities. The game is made of eighteen diverse locations where we will have to solve logical and environmental puzzles and avoid traps. As we play, we will make a good use of Boxboy's gradually abilities: Boxrocket creates squares with jet engines which will alow our hero to push the buttons that are way above him; Warpbox can teleport him across a short distance. As we progress, we will gain access to additional content. All of that is presented in a rather simple form. The game has clear, cartoonish 2D visuals that work well, though you won't find any visual bells and whistles here.

The game was developed for Nintendo Switch and – similarly to previous entries in the series – it enables the player to assume the role of the titular character, who travels through vast and varied levels. During the game they must jump between platforms, avoid traps and dangers and fight encountered enemies, among which there are large, powerful bosses. The developers implemented a novelty to the series – the enemies can become allies if Kirby throws enough hearts at them. The allies can be controlled by artificial intelligence or by other players. This enables the protagonist to combine his abilities with the power of elements obtained from his companions.

Syberia is the first chapter of the adventures of Kate Walker, an American lawyer hired by the company that produces automatons – mechanical toys. She is tasked with finishing the formalities related to taking over a factory located in a small city in Europe. The game begins when the protagonist arrives at the factory and learns that its owner, Anna Voralberg, is dead. In order to complete her mission, Kate must find her heir. The task pushes her to embark on the greatest adventure of her life. During the journey she will visit various climatic and mysterious places located in the Eastern Europe and she will meet many interesting people. Since it's a typical point-and-click adventure game, the gameplay consists mostly of exploring locations, solving riddles and speaking with non-playable characters. Syberia is famous for its climatic graphics with pre-rendered, hand-drawn backgrounds.
