Major novelties include e.g. new weapons (Splat Dualities), moves (Dodge Roll) and heroes (including refreshed versions of the old crew). Controls have been adjusted to both Joy-Con and Pro Controller (a more classic gamepad). It is important to note that in both cases the players can use gyroscope, which is useful for aiming.

We get a 3D platformer where we explore various locations using Mario's acrobatic abilities, gather items, avoid traps, and fight with the encountered enemies and bosses. Super Mario Odyssey comes with some new elements, like bigger locations or a more sandbox-like nature of the game that gives us more freedom of exploration. A side-scrolling horror/adventure game. Detention is a debut project of Taiwanese studio Red Candle Games. The action of the game takes place in Taiwan during the 1960s, in the middle of martial law that lasted 37 years. We are taken to Greenwood, a high-school placed in a mountainous area. The players assume the role of two students who discover that the school became inhabited by wicked monsters known from local legends. Their mission is to survive, as well as to discover the origins of the mysterious evil. Detention is built on exploration, gathering items, and solving riddles, all performed through a classic point-and-click interface. Our protagonists are practically helpless in open combat, so their only way to deal with the danger is to hide and lay traps, and escape if need be. The two-dimensional visuals are quite interesting, as the developers were inspired by the mythology of China and Taiwan, as well as Taoist and Buddhist beliefs.

Like its predecessor, Story of Seasons allows us to play as an amateur farmer, who moves to a small, shabby town of Oak Tree. The gameplay is not much different from that of Harvest Moon—you buy seeds, plant and water them, gather crops, and take care of your animals. The biggest novelty in the game is the option to trade with other cities, allowing the players to exchange goods by using Wi-Fi. An important element of Story of Seasons are the social aspects, thanks to which you can actively participate in the life of your town by meeting new people, coming to parties, and even falling in love and starting a family.

A multiplayer arcade game developed for Nintendo Switch. The game rules are simple - the characters run around a board divided into smaller panels. By jumping you rotate the tiles near your avatar, changing their color to match it. If someone else steps onto your tile, they drop out of the game. When rotating the tiles you can earn various power-ups which e.g. increase your speed or the number of the rotated tiles. Some tiles, however, are immobile and cannot be rotated; if you know the mechanics well enough, you can use it to your advantage. Project Mekuru's multiplayer mode allows 4 players to play with each other at once, either online or using just one console. The visuals are quite simple — on the screen you see only the boards and the colorful characters wearing futuristic suits.
